This turned out interesting.

USA Got another upgrade and it looks like my assault in Illinois missed. I managed to destroy supplies and sabotage the railroad, but unfortunately I lost one of my raiders.

Also I just got a free cavalry brigade of 2,000 men from the Indians. Awesome! I'm going to go ahead and send them off to scout and cause general trouble.

I finished another Camp this turn. My reinforcements has boosted up to 3500 now which is becoming very satisfactory.

I also finished a Mint and Mine to help out my economy.

Mephis got hit by disease which is a bit troublesome, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Diplomacy is still doing bad.

My Runners failed to pick up anything. However I'm sending them off to grab some Horses and Weapons.

My plan in the west worked just great except for the fact the enemy unit left behind was in a nearby river instead of the province itself. I'm not going to go on a wild goose chase after it and risk getting attacked from behind from the army now in Mephis. I'm going to go ahead and return to Cumberland and send off Buckner's division to do some damage in Kentucky.

I'm a bit proud of my attempt but I don't want to get cocky. I've probably confused the Union so they will probably come back and try to attack me. If not, my forts should hold for now.

I've also demoted Ewell. I need better corps generals, Longstreet in particular.

My fleet has also arrived in New Orleans successfully. My ironclad will be done in 3 turns.

In the east it looks like they are try to cut off my railroads. They just sent down a division to Abingdon. This is not tolerable any longer, I'm going to attack.

I'm confident in my army's abilities. I just upgraded the weapons of my units in the ANV further. Let's whoop em!

In the south the Union army is making advances on Georgia. I'm sending the last of my brigades to garrison Georgia's Capital.

My diplomacy and economy remains about the same.

In Atlanta I'm building a Plantation which will increase my income and give me more building slots.

In Columbia I'm building a Mint to help out with my economy.

In Richmond I'm starting a Corps Container for the AOT.

That ends the turn. I have a choice for an upgrade, so I go with Artillery Training.

No promotions yet. I should get one next turn to promote Longstreet to a Corps Commander. I should also start building another Academy soon so I can get more promotions.

In Shenadoah I'll tell my raiders to sabotage supplies. High chance of this happening and quite a bit of supplies so this should give me an advantage in my assault. In the west I've set my raider to sabotage rail roads.

There is most positively going to be a fight between the ANV and AOP next turn, unless the rat moves away from me again. I'm very positive I'll win a decisive victory. My army has very good generals, good quality men, and decent firearms. True, he is going to be on the defensive, but my boys will overcome him.

Who will come out victorious? I suppose we'll find out tomorrow.

Events 2/2

Ok, not sure what happened but the ANV didn't make it to the Shenandoah. I wish I could see the movements during the turn. I'm going to assume they ran into a small unit (reinforcements perhaps?) and didn't continue. They took down 1,630 soldiers in a small battle, an entire brigade, so that's good.

My supplies and rail road sabotages worked out just fine, hopefully they did some good damage.

I also got another Indian Cavalry unit consisting of 2,000 units. I'm going to join him up with the other Indian Cavalry unit and try to get them over to the AOT.

I also finished construction of a Mint and Factory, so this is welcome news. My unrest in Savannah also ended so my economy is getting back on it's feet. Just two more turns for Charleston.

The diplomacy is staying as it is. Andrew Moore is now supporting Iron Production so this is an extra 15 Iron per turn!

My runners did their job well and got me some more Weapons and Horses. I'm going to send them off to try and smuggle some more weapons and horses. I really need to get my diplomacy back up soon, runner options are very low.

The situation in the west is about the same. The AOT is now back at Cumberland waiting to see what happens. I'm not going to try anything aggressive this turn.

However I have sent out Buckner's division to capture and cause unrest in Kentucky. They've just captured Bowling Green as you can see. I'm going to divert their attention a little to this lone division that captured Abindgon last turn. He's moving west now and is now at Knoxville. I'm going to try and intercept him and take him out. After that I want to send that division down south, which I will explain in a bit.

Also my Ironclad in New Orleans is almost finished, only 2 more turns.

In the south I'm getting a bit confused. He's sending his army even farther north this time. Is he trying to seize Savannah so he'll have a port city? Well I don't want to wait to find out. I'm switching one of my garrisons over there and brining up my Garrison in Florida.

My next act in the south is to bring down Bruckner's division and try to destroy this army. They have fewer men (Only 8k) but they are of fair quality as well as command and the enemy MUST be having problems with supplies by this point.

Now for the east. I'm not sure what disrupted my attack with the ANV, I think a brigade came through and interrupted the army.

Well, this turn I am most definitely going to bring on the attack. Victory is near, onward Virginia!

I've also taken the opportunity to upgrade more weapons.

My economy is slowly getting back on it's feet. When Charleston comes back into play I should be able to increase my diplomacy spendings.

In Austin I'm building a new Arsenal and a Camp.

To end the turn I've gone with Rifle Manufacturing to help with my production on Weapons.

I've now got Longstreet promoted to a Corps commander, he's one of my best and I'm proud of him. He'll play a big role in the battle ahead.

I'm going to go ahead an raid the railroads in Shenadoah to see what damage that causes. In the west my raider will do the same.

Big battle coming up for sure this time. Hurray!

Events 3/3

Well well, the first proper battle and it's a victory for the AOV. I was expecting more casualties, but victory is sweet.

One thing that worries me are the upgrades the Union is making. My Research is pretty decent but I haven't had any of the good choices he's been getting.

Looks like I was correct when I said they were going to Savannah. I was unable to get my men into the garrison however.

Both my sabotages failed, too bad.

I gain yet even more economic support. Just finished 2 mints and a factory.

Mephis was hit AGAIN by disease. That's really annoying, it's going to be hard for them to get back into shape.

My diplomacy is still doing very bad. Next turn I should be able to do something about that. My Runners got some weapons. There is absolutely NOTHING for my runners to take except some horses. darn it...

In the west things remain the same. My army is still waiting in Cumberland River to see what they do next. The indian cavalry just arrived so I gave them some Carbines and assigned them.

Over in Knoxville that enemy division managed to avoid damage. I'm not sure where he is going.. however the AOP was defeated and is now in Abingdon so I don't want to risk my division running into them. I'm sending them south to Savannah.

I got my new Corps container but I forgot to set it to "Reinforce To" so it's stuck in Richmond. The railroad is cut at the moment so until it's clear I'm not going to send them.

Strangely enough when I defeated the AOP last turn they retreated southward. I'm going to pursue them.

Even though it wasn't the most decisive battle I managed to receive a lot from this victory. A lot of my Command and Logistic ratings have increased significantly. I also managed to steal some of their supplies, weapons, and my units have become more experienced.

In the south Savannah is under siege. Already had enough when we haven't even fought yet? I only have 2 thousand men garrisoned there so I need to converge all my brigades there. It's going to be tricky since the enemy is already there.

Buckner is coming down to engage this army. I honestly am not expecting him to beat him. Although the Union has supply issues he has 30,000 men against 8,000 and who knows what kind of equipment they were given before coming. This is rather an experiment to see if supplies effect combat that much and to try and scare him away.

My economy is growing stronger. Even with all my units being supplied I'm managing to get a steady economy going again.

I've won three battles and my VP is rising. I'm hoping for a decisive victory soon so my National Will can rise.

I'm building a Plantation in Augusta to allow more building construction and a economical boost. I'm also building a RR station in Savannah to make the governor happy (whom is requesting it) and help with my transportation efficiency.

That's all I'll spend this turn. I want to save the rest for some ship upgrades next turn since the second Ironclad will arrive.

Overview:

Realize that even though they have units in the south now they have been unable to do any damage at all.

The positioning of units is also quite strange when they are stacked on top of each other. The ANV is most definitely not in NC.

That's it for this turn, things are just becoming interesting.

Strangely enough I had enough research for another Naval upgrade but didn't get an upgrade choice. Oh well, I guess I'll get it next turn.

I set my raiders to cause economic damage.

Buckner took a hit and lost some of his men at Knoxville. It's not too serious, but I'm sending him off to rejoin the AOT. The Union has a huge amount of units converging around the area.

Hurray! I won quite a large battle at Abingon. 10,000 enemy casualties, the AOP is suffering badly.

I finished my Camp in Austin so now my reinforcements has increased further to a steady 4,000 men per turn.

Diplomacy is still at an all low.

I managed to get some horses with my runners, not that I need them. Runner options are so scarce it's not even worth mentioning.

My second Ironclad has finally finished. I'm going to upgrade one their weapons up to a Dahlgren rifle. I'll try to get another for the next one next turn and I'll be ready to cast sail.
