Was setting up a new league and noticed a few typos in various screens. Not game stoppers or bugs, but the better the spelling, the more professional the game looks. Im not an english scholar or anything, but these stood out to me

When pressing the "How do I use this screen" link on the "modify rosters and lineups" screen, it pulls up a help page called "Puresim Baseball 2007 Help - Modifying rosters and lineups". On this page, a line says "To swap to players positions in the batting order/Pitching Rotation". That "to" show be "two". I also noticed that "Pitching Rotation" has the P and R capitalized in alot of screens (but batting order is not). That really shouldnt be capitalized.

On the same help page, it says "Understaning the action buttons". Understanding is missing the d.

When setting up the league, I forgot to turn on the DH option for the AL. I went into the options and utilities page for the league, checked off the Use DH for this league toggle for the AL, and a MessageBox popped up that said "DH options have been changed. Teams will now redo thier lineups". Thier should be their.

In the "Edit region information" screen, there is a period after the word "available" which I think should be a comma.

Just trying to keep it clean

Nukester, just wanted to mention I noticed a few spelling and punctuation errors etc. in your comments. For example, shouldnt needs an apostrophe between the n and t "shouldn't". I believe english, in this case, needs to be capitalized "English" scholar.
Also, there should be a comma following "says." I am not an English scholar either, but just want to keep things clean.
Thanks

Thanks for the comments. I really dont give a rats ass about my post. Im not making any money off of it. If you would sell something that you want to look professional but have it look like it was spellchecked by my 9 year old, then all the power to you. I made the post for Shaun to make the game more professional looking. Thanks for your time though

Hell's bells, guys, there's a number of errors in the names, too, but none of these things are game-killers, are they? In the game, an imported player named O'Hara comes out as Ohara, making him sound like a Japanese player. We KNOW what it means, and making him Irish doesn't make him bat or pitch any better, does it? Lighten up, guys.

It ain't rocket science, it's baseball, the home of Yogi Berra and Dizzy Dean ("'he slud into third").

Fuhgetabboudit.

I pointed it out. Now Shaun can do what he wants with it. I couldnt care less if he changes them or not, but I thought he might like to know. Isnt that what this forum is about ?

Absolutely, thanks. That "spell-checked by my nine year old" comment hurt a bit though :) I'm actually a pretty good speller, it usually just amounts to typing too fast.

I always correct these things as soon as they are posted. Believe me, they are a lot easier to fix than most issues!

Shaun

I'm with Nukester here and I'm going to be presumptuous and say I'm also 100% sure Shaun is all well. How would it look if on every screen it said puresin baseball. I'm pointed out quite a few typos and Shaun has corrected every one that I can remember.  Why anyone would WANT the typos to remain is beyond me and attacking someone for taking the time to try to fix something is an attitude we don't have on this forum and don't need.

Yeah, sorry about that. Heat of the moment I type all day long myself, and I still do the 2 finger hunt and peck method, and Im a lousy typer. The backspace is my friend . As I said, I wasnt complaining at all about the game. Just figured you would like to know.
