There's not enough information in that article to draw any conclusion from. Might be a teacher's aide over reacting, it might be that there was inappropriate behaviour going on. If it's the latter I hope someone checks in on the home conditions of that child. In any event, the school administrator likely has no choice but to follow the school policy exactly because in todays climate if that child does something similarly inappropriate with another student the administrator will lose his or her job and be sued to boot.

I don't need to know anything more besides the fact that he is 4 years old and this $%#%ed aide made a sexual harrassment complaint originally. Sexual harrassment by a 4 year old? That's ludicrous.

Here's the abridged version:

First let me say I'm not singling T out here, but his statement seemed a perfect starting point.

Basically what's wrong in America is everyone is convinced that they are right always and everyone else is wrong always. Red states vs blue states, progresives vs conservatives, yuppies vs "red necks", everyone is villified by some sort of label and made the scape goat for everything that has "gone wrong". It seems most of the time people are half a step away from getting a strong rope to hang in a tall tree. If I had a nickel for everytime I have heard someone call someone else an idiot I would be an extremely rich man.

It brings to mind a quote I heard recently "No empire has been defeated from without, unless it has first defeated itself from within."

There are systems both legal and administrative to handle the problem reported in that article and the surest way to guarantee that justice won't be done is to try it in the court of public opinion.
