Well guys I went and got the latest version of enhanced and have it on my machine. So to maybe stop any trouble with games already playing in long campaign I started the italian long over. I didnt really want too but thought it best. See new dar i just put up for new force selection. Dont know if I really like enhanced as yet have mixed reactions too the fact that no results are posted when using artty. Makes it very tough to find the enemy are be very efective with artty. Also I have heard talk that no willey meter but im almost sure I have seen it appear on a few of my troops with this new setup. Also while looking thru the Italian oobs for my core I found an awful lot of British units listed in there. Such as planes tanks and apcs. Is this right are have i screwed it up some how. I mean there is an awful lot of British units listed in there. I dont think this is right. Like the Graphics and sounds tho. Plus I did not see where my base exp was that much better for the Italians. I may be biased on that tho as the reason I went to this setup was I couldnt get the Italians to move in my other long campaign. Shouuld I have maybe kicked out all my longs before I loaded this are did I maybe get the wrong one when I down loaded this. the reason I say this is becausethere has been talk in the forums you ahd to be logged in to down load this but I wasnt when I did it. Was right there at the top of the page said something like the latest enhanced so just took it and used the loader went on easy.

What Im getting at is I feel I may have messed it up somehow with all the Brits being in the Italians oobs. And also im sure I saw some of my squads marked with the * in the short time I have played since I put it on my machine. Sorry guys about rambling on so but I will take it off if you feel it is messed up. I can play without it after all I have put it off this long with no bad effects. The version I have loaded is Enhanced Final version FV.1

Hey Alby,
sounds like Robot installed the enanched on 8.20 ...

In order to have the FV_1 up and running it needs to be installed over 8.3 patch.

A friend of mine had the same problem as Robot and he solved doing that way.

Can you confirm?

Mau.

No I am seeing spitfires and such planes and also a british lorry for one. I also believe I saw a mosquito in there as well. I installed it over 8.4 was that wrong. Matilda tanks and Cruisers are in the oobs. I went into the encyclopedia looking up some italian weapons and found a lot of the british stuff at this time. It says colonel Enhanced .1

Those units you mentioned are all in the Italian OOB, if you check the dates you will see it is after Mussolini was disposed and Italy was no longer an Axis nation,  and US and British forces were in the country...
looks like you are ok

In late 1943 (October, I think) Italy "surrendered" to the Allies and became a "co-belligerant" against the Axis. What this meant was that Italian soldiers could now "take up arms" and fight alongside the Allies to liberate their own homeland. To do this, they were re-equipped with Allied equipment: US and British weapons, tanks, artillery, and transports. What you are seeing is one of the Enhanced iprovements: the addition and expansion of little-known units and formations into many of the "minor nations" OOBs. Check out the Dutch, for example.
