I don't want snow.  If we get too much and the Governor declares a state of emergency, then I come back to work in my dungeon whether I'm on leave or not.   So far there's none in the forecast, but we all know how accurate weatherman can be.  Also, that storm that's pummeling you guys is headed straight for me.

Yeah, the Govenor activated the Guard for this storm. They were really the only ones well enough equipped to move around in the snow. Emergency Response groups just didn't have enough snow vehicles to handle it all. The Guard spent the night rescuing people stuck in their cars, setting up emergency shelters and transporting supplies.

Denver had over 60 plows on the road last night and couldn't really do more than keep the interstates in the metro area open, along with a few major thoroughfares.

What's hard to believe is that the 2003 storm was worse. We got an additional 10" in about the same amount of time.

Somebody get on the horn and summon the crew of Ark II.

We have a pitbull puppy with a tampon stuck up her bum. Maybe they can use the laser to get it out. Probably cheaper than the Vet.

I'll add this to the list of most unique calls to recieve while at work.

That puppy may not be smart enough to make it to adulthood.

But the sheer indestructability will make up for it, I'm sure.

How much snow do you want? We can send you around 24 inches your way.

Enough that I can'y go to work? Just send it to 'Dixie c/o the RAF' We've had jets circling for 4-5 hours todau waiting for the fog to disperse enough to land.

Gee, and I complained about my commute.

We shall see......Indestructable Pitbull is currently on her way to the vet.....tampon still stuck in her butt....and reportedly not feeling well. My suggestion was to blow up a paper bag, step behind her and pop it......scaring the sh_......er, "Tampon" out of her.

Or it could explode if the exit route is corked up well enough.

No, that's what I call my collection of reference books that are occupying non-canine safe bottom shelves.

Move those to the top shelf, and replace them with your woman's collection of romance novels, the dog wont eat those anyway (although it might make it throw up a few times)

Well, its raining in buckets in central Ohio now.  My wife's plan on dragging the kids and I to the zoo to see their Christmas lights just went down the tubes.  Hopefully, there'll be a turn in the in box waiting for me.

Geeez. Shoveling 6" should deserve a 6 pack. I think the guy earned himself a case at least.

I think he was just bored. He should learn to play war games, that way he has something to waste hours playing.
