So, I bullied Sweden into the war as the Axis. I am moving their units to the east but I find that there are hexes that are 'excluded' and 'nonplayable' so it isn't possible to get them to the front! Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

I noticed the same thing in my game with Okimaw and I couldn't figure how to get the Swedish units to the front, except for the aircraft which will fly over the exclusion zones.  So I ended up disbanding the Swedish land units and having all that equipment transfered to the reinforcements pool as a result.  It must be some kinda events bug or something.  I never did figure out a good use for the Swedish Ship(s) which can't be disbanded.  Good luck.

Thanks, that kind of sucks though considering they would be a big help with Finland. Oh well!

The release notes for ver 5 from 4.1 say:

quote:

-Added exclusion zone around Sweden. It's same type as around Persia and will thus disappear
if USSR attacks Persia. That doesn't mean that it's then allowed to enter Sweden (by any side)
it's just to prevent error caused by the "human" factor in the opening turns.

Perhaps it's an oversight by hte author??

Oversight of player's intentions I would say. It has been asked a couple of times.
