Any one else see this or know what is going on?

Boston is showing 28 of 30 buildings allowed. When I click on the Build button I get nothing. This is killing me as the governor of MA insists a telegraph gets built. He has gone from a staunch ally to non-commital since I can't build the telegraph.

Never seen that one. One thought though, you ever have an impressment go bad and lose a building? Maybe it would display it that way but I don't think you can immediately build over the ruined building.

If that's not it, then sounds like a bug.

I don't think that is it. I have seen the "ruined" building in another province and it counted towards my total. In this case I should be able to build 2 more.

Thanks for moving this issue. It appears to be a bug. If it is ruins issue should they count towards the total buildings and show on the screen? Ruins in another province showed and counted towards the total.

Ruins should count.  I'm considering adding code that clears ruins at a certain chance each turn.

There is a flat maximum number of buildings you can build... I thought that number replaced the building-support number, but I'll have to check to see.

Surely you should be able to rebuild a ruin? or at least to clear the ground as another building task.

Nah, in 1860- 1865 no one had dynomite or the tools and equipment nor the technology to dismantle and clear rubble. Makes perfect sense to me.....

Interesting idea, but I think History kind of shows, that many cities were able to be rebuilt, with out any of that

it just helps to have it
