I ran an historical season inder an older version of PureSim back when little used players were unable to be imported to the rosters. What I did was, edit some fictional players by changing their name to the real ballplayer and estimating some of their ratings.

now that these little used players are available for importing and I am about to move on the next season in my replay, I want to import them in and used the computer generated ratings for them.

As far as I know, my choices are to the retire the players that I created and import the actual ones, losing the year's worth of stats that accumulated OR import the actual players, then edit the players I created to match the ratings assigned to them by the computer and move forward.

My question is...Is there a choice that will better protect the ability of the players involved to match their actual performance in the next season I am about to replay?
