They got most of the salient points right even if they hyped up the "squaring off" a bit.

They do get a tad overly dramatic/propagandistic, dont they?

Christmas presents from my nieces' arrived yesterday. I received "Flags of Our Fathers"

Saw that recently. Was not terribly impressed. Maybe I should lower my expectations....I'll enjoy Hollywood movies more.

I am kinda curious about that "flip side" one you guys mentioned.

I am. They decided to wring me out before they cut me loose. I'm actually having a very full day today....and trying my best to care.

I remember seeing a movie about Ira Hayes a while ago (maybe an 80s or 90s movie)...pretty much the same story IIRC. I honestly expected more from this one.

Alton Brown of Good eats is very entertaining. He appeals both to my inner chef and inner nerd.

Myth busters on Discovery is pretty good too.

Yes, I really like AB and Mythbusters. I also liked Iron Chef (the Japanese one) when they showed it. The Man vs. Nature thing is also pretty entertaining. Oh, and Dirty Jobs.....looove that.

Worst jobs in history is pretty good too. Helps put your own bad job in perspective.

I think this is on HC International.
