Because he's a police officer?

Or do these doughnut jokes apply only to sheriffs, and not police officers?

Anyway, here's the background story:
http://www.snopes.com/photos/signs/kern.asp

OK, i understand the story (see photo below), but what does the green-faced "frownie" have to do with donuts???

Chennelle is enough thx....

that and a STUPID CAT!!!!!!!!!!

speaking of which.....i beat my cat toss record last night. We moved into our new place last night. Having retrieved my brand new iPod from the old temp condo, i entered the new domisile and placed the pod on a box temporarily in a bedroom while i helped unpack some stuff in the living room. Several minutes later i enter the room to catch the STUPID CAT red[pawed] munching away at my iPod headphone wires. Grabbing said cat by the scruff of it's neck i began pulling it out into the living room when it preceeded to start biting me. One large overhead toss later, STUPID CAT is airborne and goes skidding across the living room floor. I then proceeded to beat the STUPID cat some more for biting as well as ruining in two minutes FLAT it's fifth pair of headphones....and scored two points by throwing it into it's cat carrier.

Nothing but net.

FREE.....honest. take it.

No Idea. GF unit theorizes that there's something 'tasty' or 'smells good' about headphone wires that the SC just can't resist. Only good thing that came out of last nite (besides the opp to practice the CAT TOSS is that GF unit is now a true believer. She hadn't believed me prior to the last CAT TOSS when i told her i'd only left the door open for a couple minutes while i was going back and forth between the bathroom and the bedroom only to find my last pair of expensive headphones chewed through. (She blamed me more than the Cat suspecting i had left the door open all day)

Told her that SC only needed a minute or two to go on a rampage. After catching the STUPID thing red pawed she was like "good....beat it....maybe it will remember now"

Plus, you can't really own the land. It's just a "permanent lease".

I know I'm strange, but the tropics just don't appeal to me. I like cool weather.

Which is why u live in NC?

We don't always get to live where would prefer.

Well, Mars is cold compared to Earth...

Where in NC do you currently reside??

EDIT: Was it near Davidson?

Cats just naturally chew string-like objects. Have no clue why. I already told you how to cure that problem Nik. Plug the headphones into the wall socket.

Heh....FYI, beating does not work on cats. They understand that the consequences are associated with your presence and will just do it when you aren't there. You have to do something they do not associate with you.  Tossing a ball at them (don't let them see you do it) works. Loud noises work, as long as they don't sound like you made them.

Nik, you should get a Border Collie. They're "rebellion" is a lot more mild. My last Border Collie never chewed anything, UNLESS, we were go for 10 hours or more. At that point in time she would go to the trash, take out one, and only one Klenex, carry it to the front door and shred it. It was her way of saying

We knew that.....the cat (and the PB) tried chewing/tasting plugged in cords. They quickly stopped. Normally i keep all unplugged wires safely behind closed doors and kept doing despite GF unit "thinking" that the cat was now grown up and over it's 'destructive' phase. I never believed that. Last nite was one of those things.....and it took all of 3 minutes to go down.

You have a very tame border collie(s) then - i've known of folks where the border collie will trash their place as bad as (or worse) than Nik PB. My assistant had to get rid of hers (sent to a farm) because it trashed her house. Border Collies generally need a job and lots of space to run to be happy.

Maybe.....but it sure felt good. One thing for sure.....Kittie tried to bite GF once while trimming claws.....one major beating later.....cat has never put a tooth on her no matter what she does to it. Pitbull puppy learned the same lesson.
