Hi all,

My take on PDU is YES on but reluctant NO if we want to stick to purely historical i.e. CHS game.

OK:

PDU VOTE!!
So now we have:

so we have : RT - no
faber - no (reluctantly)
Niceguy - yes
Bruce - yes
Speedy - yes (sort of...)

hmmm - it is up to Mike...

A few other common house rules I would like to mention. I personally don't feel they are necessary, but others like them for more game accuracy:

1. With PDUs on 48 plane BGs upgrade to 4E, while 64 plane BGs upgrade to 2E. Personally I always play this way as a guideline. However in my PBEM with Graycompany I do have 1 64 plane 4E group, and one 48 Plane 2E group. It was necessary becuase I didn't have the political points to move them.

2. 4E bombers can only conduct naval attacks at above 10,000 feet

or

3. 4E bombers can not conduct naval attacks (personally I am not a big fan of this rule)

That's all I can think of in terms of house rules

I don't like 4E conducting Naval attacks personally. I also only normally play with Night attacks ONLY against City and Naval as a general rule.

I also don't like sub commando raids if that's ok with you guys?

I am looking forward to this

Rather than bore our Thread bretheren with the detail of setting up this game........why don't we set up a seperate thread.....here in the war room.......to sort out the details until our AARs are up and running.....and have, of course, a proper name...........

Let's call this temporary thread something practical....like Bob.................

No post is unworthy of the Thread, save maybe that horrid naked dog creature Robert posted, oh so long ago.
