Well, before I learned the game system, I was pretty impressed with the AI. I've already got an overwhelming victory currently on Turn 15 of Gazala as the Axis. Playing on Computer +. I've shattered Bir Hacheim and with it the Free French. Also destroyed are the majority of 7th armor and 1st armored. HQ companies and supply companies of 7th armor, 4th armor and 2nd armor are also destroyed. I have to say, the AI has done some strange things. - When my units have gotten close to their HQ, artillery or supply, they werent moved. In fact, several turns, they actually were on the front lines! - No effort was made to relieve the seige of Bir Hacheim. - Several turns, enormous stacks of enemy units would approach my front lines, I was almost hoping for an attack, but then they would back off! I was outnumbered a few times, 12 units to 1. So... what's up? Is it just this scenario? This is the only one I've played, as there aren't enough scenarios in Afrika so I played a few turns to get the system down, then restarted. I love the game, I'm just kind of wondering why the AI isnt a bit more agressive. Especially after capturing Bir Hacheim, maybe an effort could have been made to retake it. I had the assault screened by relatively weak forces, and they didnt make an attempt to go through my line. There was an attempt far to the south of Pt. 171 earlier in the seige, but I summarily destroyed it. After that, well the Allies just sort of watched. The strangest though is HQ and supply units entering the front lines. Might as well throw another question in here too. When a HQ or supply unit for a regiment is destroyed, do the units they supported, get supply from higher up?
