I just purchased the game on-line two days ago. Although I have received my Matrix Games Member Account, and registered my game, I am having trouble with the Start-Up screen! Most of the buttons on the Start-Up screen do not work! I get no response for Register; Forums; Support; Services; Store; or Merchandise. I also do not get a response to Matrix Games; Wintervalley Software, nor MF Website! The buttons for Matrix Games Catalog; Game Manual; Utility Set; and Exit.

Apparently, my McAfee firewall is blocking the Internet access buttoms! I need to know what program application is used in the start-up screen to access the Internet so I can tell McAfee to permit it through the firewall. Might anyone know that program?

Thanks in advance.

Would probably be easier if you posted the actual name of the game in question...

Looks like Max Football based on reference to Wintervalley and MF website.

I don't know how it works in MF but I bypass that screen for all the matrix games I own. You can get to all of the items without having to use that screen, all it does is take up drive space (not much) and time when launching the game. Just poke around for the actual executable and manual and set bookmarks in your browser for the rest of the stuff.

Thanks for the tip! I have been using work-arounds, but it would be nice to just have the Stert-Up screen work correctly! McAfee will allow me to designate an application file to allow access, but I need to know where to look, and which one to allow. Looking for one of the tech gurus to give me the application name.

Appreciate the feedback.

It is the "autorun.exe" file in the folder you installed the game to.

Marc, I gave Full Access to the Autorun.exe file in McAfee, yet nothing works that would go out to the Internet!
