Yes it will, but as Future points out, it isn't necessary. Unless you need to the column description headers (or would that be "footers" ?). I would suggest that anyone that desires to modify Cross of Iron, or even the original CC3, to use one of the data workbooks, which are spreedsheets in Microsoft Excel .xls format. The orginal CC3, CoI, CC5 and CCMv3.1 can be found on CSO, here: http://www.closecombat.org/forums/showpost.php?p=94858&postcount=166 CC4's workbook can be found here: http://www.closecombat.org/forums/showpost.php?p=94883&postcount=169 If anyone does not have MS Excel, they can download OpenOffice, a freeware (and adware and spyware free) office suite that can open and edit the Excel .xls files. In fact, some of the CC series workbooks were made using OpenOffice, so there are no compatibility issues. Back to the issue of Qclone. The original .ini files for the CC series suffered from some lack of information available to the maker of the utility. Forunately, the stucture of the game .ini files allows us to update them. Complete Qclone tool folders that have updated .ini files that conform to the data workbooks for each of the game series and are based on the game code are available at: http://www.closecombat.org/forums/showpost.php?p=94856&postcount=164 Attention Moderators and Administrators: These should be copied and added to the Matrix downloads. They are Simtek and CSO approved.
