they could'nt get across this big of a battle field together, with enough concentrated force to push any of my artillery suppressed squads out of entrenchments.

Knowing they would concentrate on any spotted fortifications I had placed first,I staggered my field coverage between my infantry platoons in the immediate VH vicinity and my engineers to fill the latteral flanks facing to continue the mineline from directly cornering of their trenches.

this was a text book "pick and roll" inter-twined defence setup that took advantage of vis factors that I deployed to give ALL my units BROAD coverage, without a static lined deploy.

Can't really say I'm impressed with the battle being called so early by the AI,, and wonder how flashfyre and VA would figure this as a campaign challenge? I really hate when we get no followup with what would happen with the remaining turns for this battle?

I can just imagine what the final casualties would have been after say,the first half hour from when all the platoon Lt.'s reported on radio that "the enemy has fallen back from our area sir,, do u wish us to start patrols and counterattacks on any remaining visable enemies formations we see pathed threw our mines?.{south front line with more than enough spaces to counterattack}

the majority of my force is comin right to the central VH group before I do any serious branching out for the lateral VH's in an attempt to traverse their front line and catch them out of their foxholes retreating to the aid of their HQ.
