Status: offline 		I downloaded the nice, very nice, map of the civil war arena from the 'registered downloads' section and I have noticed that Cincinnati was forgotten!

The Blue/black dot is there for Cincinnati but the name is missing.

Just thought I would let the people of Ohio know

Status: offline 		I don't have any names of the cities shown on my map. Eventually you get to know all the locations and don't need the names. I think it just clutters the map.

Status: offline 		Cincinnati is named, but the names you see are region names. It's region is the river, but if you click in the region and pull up the city, you'll see that it's correctly names.

In the game, yes, but I am talking about the cool map that you guys supplied in the Matrix 'Registered downloads' section for FoF. I am just pointing out that who ever did this cool map for members to download simply forgot to include Cincinnati.

The attached image is a cut out from this map and as you can see there is 'Louisville' and 'Wheeling'. Whoever from WCS that did up this great map missed 'Cincinnati' when they added all the city names on this map in white text.

No big deal, I thought that I would just point it out for West-Civ in case they want to add 'Cindy' in and upload the new version in the members section for FoF.

Also, Cleveland = That mistake on the lake.  Hope HS sees this.

Cleveland's reply: I'm from Cleveland, I don't angry, I get even.

Chris in Detoilet, errr I mean Day-twah, the Straits, Detroit, Motown, not Chitown, gets windy here too though.

I seem to recall seeing a picture of the development staff when I look at Ann Arbor. Are you all U of M alums or something?

(I was in grad school there for about 100 years!)

Originally I think it was Ann's or Anne's Arbor (Arborium), maybe. I went to WSU, Wayne State U in Detroit, the U with the largest student population in Michigan. What's 'a Matta U in Rocky and Bullwinkle parlance. I was a professional student for a good number of years in the 70's and 80's.

When did you go to MSU, heh heh heh, errrrrrr, I mean U of M.

Yep that's right: we all met at / graduated from the University of Michigan. Whenever I hear the words 'western civilization', I still think of Prof. Ralph Williams, for some reason.

fwiw: We considered calling the company 'Mid-Western Civilization Software' instead. The logo would be a monster truck, of course.

I was a grad student in the UM English Department from 1992 to 2002 (and I *still* didn't finish my dissertation!).

Status: offline 		I had to correct some History Prof. out in Idaho about some things concerning the Punic War and Ancient militaries, and he became flabbergatsed and never spoke to me again, even though I gave him all the sources of info. and most of those sources he had never heard of.

Met some Capt. on the inet that was a West Pointer, and as I delineated the evolution of the compostion and structure of the Roman Republican Army through the years he was astounded, as he did a paper on what was mainly the Imperial Romans, and I guess he thought he knew it all, although he did have a nice but condescending word to say. I just said 'I know.'.

Makes you wonder.
