Why, Locking the thread won't make people smarter.

Letting it go until they realize what fools they have made of themselves is far better prevention for future "outbreaks of idiocy" than continually locking threads every other day, while the trolls compete to see who can get a thread locked the quickest.

You always know it is approaching bottom dead center when the Anti-Americanism starts...

Sometimes when there is doubt as to who the ignorant are, you just let them flap their gums and remove all doubt.

That's not something a Mod can fix...

Threads die off on their own eventually.

It is amusing to "Borat" certain posters who need very little encouragement to expose their existential position.

You know Paul it's funny how of ALL nasty things thrown around this bizarre thread - and there have been MANY - you notice only this "anti-Americanism". There have been insults to Slavs, Semites, Germans, "Euros", "Balkan bois" (whoever they are), Danes, Croats, Americans, morons (LOL ) + several named persons, pretty much insults to everybody and his dog thrown around here and the *ONLY* thing you, as official MG admin, feel the need to comment on is anti-Americanism??

Let me also say this, for the record.

I am not "anti american" in any way shape or form. I love most things American. Also, most of the things in life I enjoy are American in nature or by invention (Internet, rock and roll, and most of the wargames I play). My grandpa spent WW2 in USA (New York) and always spoke favorably of USA. Most of the people I communicate and play games with are Americans.

I also staunchly disagree with Mario (also known as Bloodstar, here on Matrixboards known as Monkeys Brain) in his stupid "Fourth reich" comments. I know him well from other boards and I think he sometimes acts as a disgrace (hey every small nation has it's Rune - we have Mario ) Monkeys brain/Mario will go ballistic when he reads this, but hey, I've been thru that already, many times

At least I have guts to distance myself from people who disgrace my country - which most of you here, including you Paul, don't.

Having said all that, I think your comment is heavily biased and unbecoming of MG admin. If in this bizare sea of nastiness, insults and bad jokes all you notice is "anti americanism" you need better glasses.

Huh, huh... I will not go ballistic, nor that I have any reason.

What's happening with this disgrace or distance... I am not representing any country here to make myself clear. I didn't disgraced anyone or anything as I am only telling my opinion.

Fourth Reich? That's antiamericanism? lol

I can give them coordinates so they can throw A-bomb on me

Have you been to America? I have been four times. I have many friends there and I am friend of American people. Honestly. There is a difference with ordinary people in America and their politics.

I in fact consider Americans one of most kind and polite people on the planet, go visit them and you will see.

And beside something for a credit to Americans if Iran would be on their place of power maybe things could have been even worse.

And one more thing for you to learn, Americans contrary to you small petty balkan boy doesn't find so many things strange. For instance when The Clash toured USA they asked them did Americans find offending "I am so bored with USA" song, they replied that they in fact wanted to hear it.

So when I say that they are Fourth Reich I am only doing them a favor - and that is certanly better to say them in the face what I think...

And Oleg spare me from your low efforts in patronizing me. We don't agree and voila, and don't need to.

There is no anti-Americanism here. The thread was heated by some stupid anti Croat pamflets... And that is OK until someone start to scratch a Big Bear hehe.

F4U Corsair. I've always loved this aircraft.
As a kid I had this same model hanging near my bed, chasing down a Zero.
Damn, is it beautiful.

The thesis about America being a Fourth Reich is from not published interview of Branimir Stulic. Oleg you know the guy. BTW, interview is one of the best he gave.

So you don't agree with bigger genius than me hehe.

Yes you are. In a thread degenerated like this, where people consciously or subconsciously form "camps" you have to be VERY careful what you say because your personal opinion will be "reflected" on all others from your "camp".

(Even if you're very careful, there will be people like Paul, who are simply too lazy to read and comprehend what's written )

Good example is Rune - personally I think he is occassionally funny and I do have *some* sympathy for every Dane that joined Danish armed forces and got sent - to Balkans on a peacekeeping mission! How screwed up is that? Couldn't he find some proper JOB in his country? The ugliest thing he posted here is "nema dizela". That's just hilarious on certain level.... I certainly don't expect him to love Croats based on his ****ty mission in ****ty time among ****ty people from ****tiest part of Croatia, as part of the ****ty Danish peacekeeping army or whatever.

Anyhow, regardless of that, this dude is a disgrace to his country because of the way he acts in a thread like this. Terminus did what he could to disassociate himself from Rune, in as much as I am doing the same with you. Both you and Rune may pass as nice dudes - in some other thread, though

heh, ok, then I am out of anyone's camp. You know that I don't give a **** about my nation. I respect my parents roots but I don't care about any nation or country as such hehe. I just think that there must be neutral view. Nobody's perfect, be it Denmark, USA or Croatia.

OK, taken to notion. But wait a minute, no big hate from me toward America pedro. It's not that. I just take more neutral way and balanced view. We cannto deny that America is number one but by international law - everyone's equal. That is my maxime, if anyone wants to be above someone else, he is breaking a law.
So not going for a someone's else's oil even if we talk about 5 gallons or I don't know how much. The reason that I involved America into this was nothing special, any country in the world has something bad & good, nobody is perfect!

I try to look at everything. That Dane went a little bit over the top so I just returned the backhand, nothing else.

Nobody can just like that escape and offend anyone as you said an expect that fire would be not returned.

So I didn't do this bit about America just for a kick. I cannot remember anything to offend the Danes. lol

From me peace, don't want a flame war.

SBD Dauntless, early war, US Navy Dive Bomber.
I loved this aircraft also, one of the first models kits I put together. It might have been a Snap-On

robpost, thank you very much, nice shot of the cockpit.
I couldn't imagine having to fight or fly in that for hours.
Then again, I lived on tanks for weeks, but at least I could jump down to the ground to piss...

Could you quote some anti US posts from me? Cuz I was attacked in the first place. I dont and cant take responsibility of our neighbours actions but I feel as insulted by calling my country (or Croatia in this matter) a nazi, like an african american is insulted when called a nigger. Especially by people who have proven that their education is way below the average. Valid critism can and should be accepted, but outright denunciation of a country (and the poster with it) based on 60 yrs old half-truths is outrageous.

As of oil, since no WMDs or Al Qaeda leaders were found in 2003 in Iraq what other reasons could there be? After reading the US national defense strategy (it can be dowloaded in pdf) I believe that W belives in spreading the democracy. But according to another old hungarian saying freedom brought on the tip of the lance probably isnt.

Oleg,

One more thing. This thing about disgrace. I have come to this boards and even sent you a pm that it was me etc... Didn't wanted to do any arguing to you. Your reply was also kind to my pm etc...

Let me be straight with you. You cannot say to me that I am disgrace to Croatia or anything. I didn't wanted to bring this as you have some sort of a status here but it is quite opposite - you are disgrace sometimes and just remember your quisling writings in the BUG or I have to remind you lol? That is disgrace to be quisling journalist be it in Croatia or USA or Mexico.

So, spare me next time your lousy patronizing. I am here as a peson not as a citizen of Croatia. I defended Croatia only because I am man of honor and I could have defended Nigeria instead of Croatia. If you think that "Croatians " must behave like some sort of a herd don't look anymore at my side and stop patronizing me. Patronize your son and teach him what he will say, not me.

So you cannot compare me with this Rune guy, I didn't started this. I didn't told anyone that they go kill some children.

I said that America is Fourth Reich. So what? In fifty years they can come to YOUR Croatia and look for water for example, also under cover of UN mission. I admit that exaggeration is here in place. But, to remind you exaggeration is good, because it shows some things better.

And I am sorry but you have no rights whatsoever to remind me on Usenet talkings and what I had say or have dared to say etc,.. I was saying everything in my name not in yours. I personally don't care what any Croatians would think and I am not representing Croatia, just pour this into your empty head once and for all.
In any case i was born in Serbia so that your soul is relived consider me a Serbian, I don't mind at all lol
Even Serbians are not so degenerating in their mind to measure words of their whatever - maybe they will even surpass you Croats.
So consider me a Serbian next time, just that I don't disgrace you, journalist quisling.

You don't have any right to do this whatsoever. I must constantly to remind you about freedom of speech because you are a little Vietcong commie in the heart lol.

I cannot help you because I am much more intelligent than you. See my allias even at this allias I am much more intelligent than you.
That is what bothers you, your limited intelligence. You are smart but not intelligent, your brain is short of conclusion. I see this as I read your post and I have read your articles. So you are just jealous. Saying that America is Fourth Reich is one of the biggest intelectual thing that Branimir Stulic come up with. Interview is from late 1991. in fact and is splendid. Intellectual thinking must be brave and radical sometimes. So next time think about patronizing me because you have no right whatsoever to patronize me until you change your behaviour. I don't ask for your or anyone's support but next time I will crap and pour two tonnes of crap on your Croatia when you say that I am digrace of Croatia. I have defended your miserable Croatia and this is a thank you from you? Pathetic Oleg, as always. Exclude me from your Croatia I said that to you once and for all. If I am digrace of Croatia, exclude me. Include your beloved prime minister Sanader which is your idol and hich is in fact biggest scumnbag in Croatia. That is your pride and idols, criminals of Croatia. You know that HDZ is my enemy you know that well. So last time stop patronizing me and telling me what I can say, last time if you want ever any friendly conversation to have with me. Show some courtesy and decency for once.

Mario

Terminus,

I am sorry for long reply. But, you all don't know situation in Croatia. Here peoplo who are bigger thieves, they are most respected.

Biggest political party is HDZ, which is in fact biggest disgrace of Croatia. You won't hear this from Oleg, he even made web site for HDZ goverment hehe. Now he will say that it was for money, ok, but they are all scumbags.

So that all in the world know, and Rune guy know this hehe... - HDZ - I said this numerous times is corrupted party, full of nepotism connection and they interpolared Croatia with that.

I am all for banning this fascist party called HDZ. I can write tri tonnes of text about them if nececary. See? I am not anti american guy, I cannot stand unjustice. I didn't wanted to criticize things in Croatia on foreign board but don't want to be labeled as some sort of defender of Croatia and attacker of others. So that is real disgrace of Croatia that world should know about it. HDZ party and all people connected with this criminal, nationalistic party. Not me or any other decent guy who is against those scumbags. Oleg labeled me as disgrace of Croatia...
And I will label HDZ. And people of Croatia is so stupid they still vote for HDZ and this party is in power here. Can you imagine that? And then you ask yourself why war on The Balkans etc... Nothing strange about war in the Balkans when people is so stupid there.

Why go all the way to Iraq? It is more expensive to extract the oil there and refine it than what you can get for it on the market. We could have gone to Venezuela, we could have gone to Mexico, We could have taken Alberta. There are plenty of places we could have invaded that would have been a far cheaper endeavor if all we wanted was oil. As a matter of fact we would have just cause for going into Venezuela and Mexico
