Here is a site that has some images of uniforms from various units and periods: http://www.military-historians.org/company/plates/images/US.htm#z _____________________________ Private, CSA Norfolk Light Artillery Blues Thanx for that link. I saved it. I haven't been to that site in a couple or few years. I have so many books now, even though I have sold some, and lost everything in 1989 when 1/2 of our block was torched by arsonist-thieves, I am running out of space. Seems that way anyway. However, somehow I manage to buy a few more every year. Once had all of FL Petre's books concerning Nappy's campaigns, but they burned-up, only have the 1814 Campaign book now, but plenty of others, enough for my purposes and enjoyment. Even have a few pics from the late 1960s with myself in my 3rd Arkansas gear, in B&W of course, with my 6'2" with bayonet affixed .69 - .72 cal. Belgian Liege piece of junk rifle. Actually it was in very good condition and fireable, and only paid $125 for it way back then. Chris
