1. Do resources go offline like factories and industy when enemy troops are in the same hex?
2. What's the deal with subs not repairing damaged torpedo tubes. I got 2 subs in Japan on sys 1 with damaged tubes repairing for months now. I'm missing something here. The ports are 9 at least. Do I need an AS?

known bug....they will now become dedicated minelayers





The bug is apparently that the ships stop ALL repairs once SYS, FLT, FIRE get to zero. If there are weapons, etc. still damaged, repairs on those also cease. Supposedly being fixed.

More questions on this:
1. DOes this affect allies also; I would assume so.
2. Does it affect other ships; I assume so.
3. What is happening? Is it that the ships have a % chance to repair a damaged weapon system every turn, but with bad die rolls it doesn't happen and the ship stops repairing if all other damage is repaired? If so why not just take it out for a couple weeks at high speed and sail it back to port with double digit sys damage?

I recently read returned to the game and thus read the documentation from the patches. I thought that one of the 1.8 patches indicated that the system damage would not be reduced to zero unless all of the ship systems were operable. It was intended to address this bug. Did they lie to us?

2. i think so
3. Probably - and redamaging the ship and putting it in for repair might work,,,

I think they did what it says. My subs are on system damage 1 and have been like that for week in big yards. The problem is the tubes aren't repairing and sys dam won't got down to 0. So, no device repairs after system damage has been zeroed is a separate bug, and from the above mentioned, probably fixed. My problem seem to be the bloody tubes! I just hope a full speed patrol around the harbor will do the trick...
