Bus from Mary Point landed his passangers in army-navy YMCA at Hotel street. Amongst them, three sailors from Sims confusedly observed the surroundings. Without a word, Joe, closely followed by Phil and Mike dipped into Black Cat Bar on the opposite side of street. The bar was crowded by sailors, marines and infantry-mens. After few drinks our sailors struggled through crowded Hotel street.
Phill: UH! What a smell!
Mike: The whole navy must have tickets.
Joe: Have you seen those holes on front side of that boutique?
Mike: Looks like Nipps missed some targets.
Phill: I wander if I will met my brother here in that crowd.
Joe: Do you have a brother?
Phill: Yes, he was on Nevada. They run aground on the december 7th.
Joe: Look at those girls, guys. I thik the one black-haired just smiled at me.
Mike & Phill: Uúúúúúú.... *uncovered Joes head*
Joe: HEY !!!

An aircraft warning was declared at Akyab airfiled. Mechanics were starting the engines, pulling out stoppers from the wheels. Twenty-two years old FLT. Trent is jumping to his cabin cliping on his parachute. He had a little headache from yesterday night. He and other flyboys from 67th RAF squadron were celebrating his birthday all night. Engines are roaring as Bufalos af their squadrons rolled to the runway. Green flare rise on the sky and Buffalos are gaining altitude quickly. After forming up they are directed to protect english cargo ship heading to Rangoon. Soon formation of twelve torpedo bombers covered by 20 Zeros appeared. Squadron begins its attack run. FLT. Trent gets behind one Zero and follows him in maneuvers. In the thick of battle he overlooked another Zero at his tail.
Few days later, comander of the squadron writes to his family:
FLT. Andrew Trent is missing in action, likely killed. His Buffalo I, was last seen hitting the sea surface two miles north-west of burning cargo ship....

Same time, another place:
Japanese Officer Tomiharo Motsushita, 18th Infantry Division is reading a diary founded in a foxhole 60 miles South of Kota Bharu between other personal belongings:
Our company now have only 30% of TOE, we are under command of a Corporal. Soon after we were encircled by the Japanese, some Dutch submarines shipped us some supplies and evacuated the wounded, but it was two weeks ago. We have tried to break out from this trap several times, but Japs are holding us tight. We are starving, almost out of ammo, but we are holding our positions at our best and we will hold them to the last men and bullet. It is important that we are tiing some 10,000 Nipps here. Every day we are holding, they cannot be commited elsewhere. Im praying to god to end our missery with all possible mercy soon...

Same time, another place:
Day after day, they are in action. Theirs Martin 139s are leak as screen. Every night the mechanics are busy to repair some of the planes to be prepared next day. Today, B3-VIG-II Groep at Sorebaja sent 3 of theirs Martins covered by 8 Hawk 75s agains Japanese shipping at Java Sea. 1LT Thomas van der Elst leads the section. Soon Japanese carrier task force is sighted. Zeros and Claudes immediately attacked Hawks trying to reach the bombers, but van der Elst tenaciously continues his low-altitude flight stright to CVL Zuiho. 1LT. AArsens Martin is going down in flames after three Zeroes attacked him. 1LT Cortlandts Martin is hit by flak and with tail of smoke from one engine goes down to the sea. Big splash pointed to his grave. 1LT van der Elst rised up nose of his Martin and released bombs. None of them hits. With engines at full power he zig-zag as low as it is possible to get away from the reach of anti-aircraft fire and fighters with gunner bleeding in his tower. He will paint 24th sign of mission flown. Mechanics have to repair more than 140 holes in the plane that night.

Lt.Com.Reich: Hmm. There is not much to see ashore. Few warehouses, airfield, fuel tanks, radio tower, and radar station. Looks like they don't know there is a war outside.
Lt.Sanders: But what a traffic! Three cargo ships departed yesterday to some islands here and there, today, we bring 10 cargos, Enterprise arrived two day earlier with 20 tankers and 7 cargos. Americal division is expected tomorow loaded on 15 more cargos. Add Enterprise group, Yorktown group. Thats enough traffic to cause death of any traffic-policemen in the world.
Lt.Com.Reich: Leastwise the things are moving.
Lt.Sanders: I hope we will lastly fire some rounds on the enemy, sir.
Lt.Com.Reich: I've heard some rumors, ExO.
Lt.Sanders: Really, sir?
Lt.Com.Reich: Saratoga and Lexington catched and sinked some ships near Apamama atol few days ago. Wouldn't be nice if Yorktown and Big-E will be sent there to train their air-crews?
Lt.Sanders: Are you hope for catching some Nipp-cans there?
Lt.Com.Reich: At the worst case we may deliver some shells to enemy garrison there.
Lt.Sanders: It will be better to stay on alert, sir.

Diary of MG crewman, Bataan defensive line:
Another bloody day passed. We are cut off from the rest of the world. Only through radio we have heared that Manilla is still in our hands and that Singapore surrendered. We are low on supplies for some days, rations were halved first, now are quartered. Japs are attacking nearly every day. Yesterday we managed to kill 40 Nipps in front of our MG-nest. I think they are planning another attack tonight...
Few hours later a shell break through the nest-top and exploded inside cutting crewmans to half...

3 questions

1. is this an actual ARR vs another player? or vs the Computer?
2. What are you going to do if the Sims gets sunk? Have a person from the sims survive and join a different ship?
3. Has anyone done somthing like this for a Jap ship?

1. It is I vs computer game. But it is my first game in WITP so I've made many mistakes and errors (even I've played UV before).
2. I think one or two survivors will got a new ship. But imagine that Sims could survive whole war (I think on the allied side it is much more possible than on the japanese side).
3. Look at cuttlefishs: Small Ship, Big War - The Voyages of the Hibiki. I was inspired by this

I'm from Slovakia (Central Europe for those who don't know where it is)

Joke:
Slovakia wants to test US Nuclear Counter attack. So they fired nuclear ballistic missile against New York. Nothing happens. After a week another nuclear ballistic missile is launched this time agains LA. Nothing happens. After another week, another missile is launched against Chicago. Nothing happens. At least our president phoned US president:
SVK president:"Hey, whats going on? We launched three nuclear misiles at you, but notthing happens to us."
US president: "Just wait, you little bastards, until we find your country on the map!!!"

PS: I hope none FBI, CIA or NSA will knock on my door tomorow for this joke (In fact we have no nuclear missiles as I know )

20,000 Japanese troops are trying to capture one of the three strongpoints in the Java Island - Batavia. Royal Netherlands Air Force (KLu) is in permanent action every day to protect their soldiers and to . Navy under ABDA comand evacuated every unit not needed in the area and their presence in the Batavia, Soerabaja and Balikpapan is now only through light forces let there to stall Japanese advance. Submarines, Torpedo boats and Dutch air force tooks heavy toll on japanese shipping...

Hi all,

Im from Spain, i hope everyone knows where it is..

Some ideas for your AAR (My English is worste than yours.. sure!!):

- You can make a couple of starrings (i.e. an ensign and an engineer or torpedo loader or logistic officer or a couple of sailors friends..) and develop a history with their point of sitght about the war. Make their families, their interestings, their fears...

- You can insert some events like an engine breakdown or lack of supplies.

- Also you can try to take a pow. It will make too many histories around him.

- Or maybe you can write a parallel action in other place (i.e. Port Moresby, Java, a figther Pilot) and develop both histories in a same AAR.

I apologize my English.. Nice job!!
