Where do I find an explanation for the several coloured circles, I get when clicking the unit visibility icon twice?

Displayed Bombardment Range (DBR): This new feature will allow the "I" key, or Unit Visibility button in the Control Panel, to display the bombardment ranges of your support units. This command now toggles between showing no units, units but no DBR, the current unit’s DBR, and all units DBR’s. Only the DBR’s for friendly units will be shown. On the main map, all non-air, ranged units should display the radius of their maximum range in one of three colors. In order of visibility, they are:

White = Unit currently selected.
Black = A unit that is set to attack/bombard, or is in any support deployment mode (D, E, F, L, or T), or has no remaining Movement Points (MP’s).
Red = A unit that has MP’s remaining, is not set to attack, and is not in any support deployment mode.

The DBR of air units is shown on the micro map, along with the effective radii of AA units. These are both displayed in blue.

As a note: They don't update. When i click the units visible/invisible one time and select an other unit than that initially selected it displays still the range circle of the initial unit.

And it doesn't work under Win98. Not that this is much of a problem as almost noone uses it, but just that you know.

I find it extremely useful for locating artillery properly and for planning air attacks in FitE.

Reading manuals is not for me.

Real men just plunge ahead,
and then start whining when it does not work.

Why is the range marker for air units different from the range in the upper right corner?

I did (now).
But I still do not understand why the rangemarker marks a range different from the one shown in the upper right corner. I checked several air units in OPLM 2004 and they all showed the same difference.
