What is life? the meaning? the objective? these are the great questions that raise their head time to time. I for one haven't found the answer to those questions. Not that i haven't searched for them ( from various, sometimes very, very dark, places ). Has someone got a clue for me? I always love a challenge, a mystery, but the mystery of life may be a bit out of my league, hell, none else has solved it. Not that i know of, anyway. And what is the purpose of this message? Well, just one of those weird threads that i like to put up, just to color things up here at M-Games site. The intensity of these game related threads easily leads to believe that gaming is the one and only reason for existence for the thousands of people who hang around here. So, in conclusion: Nothing really said, nothing really done. Cyric the One '..And the howl of this hellish beast rang through the night, freezing the blood of any mortal being that heard it....'

Life is self-defined. Life is what we make it. Any meaning in life is meaning we have given it. One can aspire to greatness, and have many accomplishments, but fail in one area, and that person may consider their life wasted. Others may look upon that persons life, and only dream of accomplishing as much. Someone else may be totally satisfied with a mediocre existance, and be none the worse for wear. My opinion is that for most of us, our lives are governed by our past, and we aren't even aware of it. What we think is free will and our choice, is really a set of preset responses that were established when we were children. We'll start with that.

The meaning of life is life itself.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who babbles here :p A song I wrote in '94 The Life by Mike Wiley (Stukadawg) Challenged by his birth to dare become a man There were riches to be claimed but he didn't understand Crowns for the taking kingdoms in dispair Everybody wants it so come and take your share Challenged by his love to unclench his tired hands He saw this island Earth was losing her sands So he walked along the shoreline early in the day Knowing that by nightfall his footprints washed away Challenged by his death to prove his love was true He unclenched his tired hands there was nothing else to do But he never shed a tear because he learned the truth To live is just to live and death is living proof (a sidenote: the guitarist of my old band wants to start recording some of the songs I'd written that never made it into the band's repitoir. His reason: to help me make some money. Now is that a nice guy or what?)
