What would it be like to ditch the AI and play this game through a server with bidding for all coutries, a ranking system and protocols for taking a allies move if he cannnot make a turn.

Im not a programmer but wouldnt it be like turn based world of warcraft?

There's a chess website that does a similar thing and you nominate how many moves you can do in a week before you start.

Hey we could start up a jackpot with everyon putting in $5 and the winner takes all and Matrix gets a cut.

It sure would generate a lot of debate about relative victorypoint levels.

Yes. It's called PBEM I think.

Except for the betting part, which is a criminal offense in all civilized countries except Italy (alleged by many to have been at least semi-civilized since conquest of the Samnites), where anything will be ponied up to save the place from actually having to be men (disgusting even the puppet elected rulers of various Islamic states propped up by the Great Satan, where Italians were redeemed by release of a number of captured terrorists who will now get back to the glorious business of wanton killing).

strange to refer to a "betting part" nobody spoke about so far, only to let us know about "Italy" in general and terrorists in special... guess you misunderstood the titel "Another way"

I only question the poster's apparent lasciviousness for illegal Internet gambling and his blatant solicitation for Matrix to become an abettor.

Well, Italy caves in to terrorists, kind of like how some people apparently believe that there is nothing wrong with illicit gambling, if you catch my my meaning. Maybe I should have confined my remarks to the response of President Karzai, who said, due to the result of the transaction that only emboldened terrorists in seizing more hostages, that he would "never do it again."

Only if I object to posts sanctioning illegal activity, I guess.

my dear Pasternakski (somehow I got the impressionyou would like to be adressed this way), I fear you are right not to discuss EiA but other topics, so let me ask you: are you sure that Taliban are terrorists ?

Ok. maybe i meant something like this.

From matrix forum; http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=930388

GGWaW Ladder
A Ladder is a means to track your success agaisnt a pool of opponents over time. You get points for each game you play, and the better you do, the more points you get! Can you climb the ladder to the TOP? How long can you stay there?
