I was just wondering if the lastest set of OOB's have the following two units.

Canadian Truck mounted Infantry.
Canadian Half Track Infantry.

If not they could use the formats that the British Lorried Company and
British Motor Companies use but change to Canadian Squads, and equipment.

Nighthawk12,

Are you referring to the Enhanced DV OOBs?

The Canadian OOb does not have these formations, Trucks and Halftracks altho can be purchased seperately and then Infantry loaded onto them...
Whether or not The Canadians actually had motorized formations I dont know...'Major Destruction' is the Canada OOb expert..

I do know that during the second world war Canada did have some mechanized and motorized formations.

Granted, not many, but I would hope that the option, will be there in time.

As for buying separate, and then loading, I am currently doing that, but it does become a PITA when you are trying to do that for close to 3 full rifle companies.

It would be appreciated, but I would not put a rush on it, if you are currently doing other things.

I will get the units, and references after this weekend, and post here if you want.

As it sits, the one major annoyance that I have, is that goofy unit / formation limit.

Restarted the long campaign as the british, changed nation to Canadian, bumped hard into the unit limit,
still had close to 1500 points left to purchase things.

When you are purchasing your initial campaign core, you are limited to 100 formations (including the A0) and 201 units (including the A0).

I have set the unit limit to the max, (seems only to work for battles though)

Doing a campaign, i hit 200 units, and then I cannot buy anything else.

Two examples of Motor Battalions in the Canadian Forces during the Second World War are

Westminister Regiment and Lake Superior Regiment.

Motor Infantry Units were usually only supplied to the Armoured Brigades.

Still lookiing for more units, and references.
