I have good news and bad news, Yava. The good news is that you did indeed torpedo an AK off Kuantan. The bad news (for both of us), is that we have a cync problem. When I ran the turn, ALL of my carriers were socked in by weather, including the Zuiho. My planes did not hit the Encounter, and you Hudsons did not hit that ship at Rabaul. In short, it sucks and I dont know how to fix it.

Night Time Surface Combat, near Brunei at 32,57

The mighty Boise "surpsized" a small transport TF. The valiant little Uranami went down, but tried its best to give as good as it got, destroying several of Boise's gun mounts and causing other visible damage. Meanwhile, the other DD and the already damaged transport (caught a bomb the day before) escaped.

I thank you for your endorsements Mr. Penguin.

Although I doubt that I'll be able to pull off sinking all his BBs in one fell swoop.

TF 100 troops unloading over beach at Rabaul, 61,88

Japanese ground losses:
121 casualties reported

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ASW attack near Lingayen at 44,50

Methinks my ASW is performing below expected levels.
Yava has gotten into a nasty habit of sending his subs into harbors. Now, while I do not consider it a gamey tactic, as such, I do think that the game engine is not equipped to reflect the dangers of taking a sub into a harbor. IRL, this venerable S-boat would have been an oil slick, even with crummy IJN sonar.

If you really wanna know, it was the "restroom pail".

BTW, we were only returning the favor. Last turn one of your Dorniers hit the Haruna. Caused no damage, but there were a lot of ticked off sailors scrubbing the "stuff" off the deck, and an ever more ticked off midshipman with a "soiled" uniform.

Anyways here's the situation concerning Borneo.

Them Jap CVE's and CVL's are getting on my nerves sinking many ships that are trying to find a safe harbor... However some of them already made it. (not only to the sea bottom) Things are getting complicated with Onime building up Brunei, Bombers present.
