Ok, I think I've climbed the learning curve enough to put out a public request for a PBEM game.

I'm looking to play Southern Steel, my esteemed opponent to choose sides.

Advanced settings except for disabling the Generals' randomized and hidden stats. I'm flexible on including or excluding unit attrition.

Currently using the latest 1.9.23 patch.

I'd like to shoot for 5-6 turns a week except for occasional work committments and family vacations.

Send PM via this forum.

Best

Chuck,
If you haven't had any takers and are still interested, I'm up for a game. I've had it for about 2 months now and, like you, think I've got the hang of it enough now to at least make for a competitive game using the new patch. This would be my first PBEM game with FoF.

I'm good with your rule selection too, with one additional request that we check "No Starting Legendary Units" (I'm developing flag files for each side and this option stabilizes the initial set up).

I'm happy to play either side, so please feel free to express your preference, if you have one. If you truly don't have one, I would be OK taking CSA as a tie-breaker since they seem to have a special challenge in this scenario.

If this works for you, let me know via e-mail: rwberg@att.net

Regards,
Ron B

Thanks Jaguar, but I'm currently full up right now with PBEM games.

Thanks everyone too for the many PM offers, but my slate is filled.  Please consider this thread closed.
