I have made a website to help you all to wrote your aar :
http://www.kalliser.com/switch_lang.php?lang=en&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kalliser.com%2Findex.php

Here you can :

  • register all your combatreport.txt in your different aar.
  • View a more friendly report based on the combatreport.txt.
  • Write your commentary directly in the report
  • Switch a report on/off while your game progress
  • Make direct link to your aar in forums with the direct link provided by my site.
  • Follow all public aar submited
  • View event on map
  • And more to come

Notice that my website is multilanguage.
More language can be supported if someone wants to do the work.
The appearing language flag before aar list depends of the user's lang who create the aar.

The site is still in developpement, if you need help, or you discover some bugs, report me them here or by mail :
kalliser@gmail.com

I hope you'll apreciate this tool and used it ! :)

Mmm the site is in english except news and help page.
Juste click on the english flag to have the site in english.

Reports are translated but of course not the text written by the aar's owner.

I'll add english help page today and see to translate the news.

Try this url instead of my link :
http://www.kalliser.com

If it doesn't work again give me which navigator you're using, I have just test my site with internet explorer and firefox.

The english help is here, I hope this will help you, it's not complete yet but I'm currently working on it.

Good work Kalliser! I'm missing original CR text for the event. Do you think to add AB map?

could you have an option to change the date display to MM/DD/YY as well? or even "7 Dec 41" would be nice. I can't seem to make my brain adjust to the European way of DD/MM/YY...

For sure I can, I have forgotten to localize the date according to the language, I will doing it quickly (I mean today ), I can even add date filter and some cool stuff.

Do you think to add AB map?

Is it a map mod
If so I think to have the possibilty to choose the map on which you play at the aar creation, currently only orignal map is supported then if you use a map mod you can register your reports but event will be probably misplaced on the map due to coordinate difference.
Support map mod can come soon but I need to choose which map I do first.

Kalliser, some nice touches in this tool, I especially like the details section where up pops the graphics of the planes or ships involved....

If you want someone to tidy up your odd English errors I am happy to oblige. [That would be English as in the original, not the American version!]

Roger

Thanks for your words it's a pleasure to see you like it.

If you want to correct my bad english I can granted you some access to a page where you can edit the translation.
I can do same if someone wat to translate to antoher langage.

I will improve this tool again (some ship type have no image, I want to make a graphical "on fire" damage and "has sunk").
I want to add map mod.
I will add more event such as landing troop.
I will surely add an icon before an event link which will indicate who is the attacker.

Later I will add statistics which game don't make such as total number of ground loose on a game.
I will add support of the second log text to represent on the map all ship and sub move detected their number and their direction.

For date format I will add an user option where you can choose which format you prefer, then anyone will be happy.

Don't hesitate to register your logs then you can make direct link to a special event in your aar, even if your aar is on this forums, you're reader will see a more firendly and graphical result of the event with the location on the map. I really think this can improve your aar, because it's esay to copy paste a link and for reader a simple click is more comprehensive than a block of text.
