Either side is fine, standard pbem conditions.

Nobody at all with the time or interest? I am fairly experienced in pbem but my last 3 opponents disappeared without a word...

Hi, I am ready for a game since my other PBEMs seem to have stalled, must be the weather outside...

I would prefer the Uncommon Valor Scenario as Allies with FOG=ON and Advanced Supplies/NO auto supplies.
End Date and AV can be on or off if you'd like. I have the latest official patch 1.010 installed.

If you are up for a game send a turn to arthurm(@)web.de. I should be able to get a couple of turns done per week.

I missed your post.  I am brand new.  I have a first turn with me as Axis (FOW and Adv Supply ON).  If you want to be allies, can I keep sending my Axis first turn to you (and everyone else)?  Or do I have to re-do it every time?

If you want to be Axis, I can do that.  But please play like an idiot because I have only played Axis, so even as Axis, I will have problems.  But if I am Allies, I will super-suck.  But hey, gotta learn sometime.

So let me know if you are still up for a game.  Thanks

I wouldn't mind helping you learn the game, but I'm a bit confused as to what you're looking for. The game mechanics you can get just by playing the AI a few times and reading through the rules (very helpful to read them carefully). But in PBEM the difference is that people can be much more agressive and unpredictable so you need to put alot of thought into your moves much like playing chess. Of course, much of what I learned about pvp was by getting beat down in my first pbem game against someone more experienced than I

I am waiting for Turn 2 and I am already being crushed by rjh1971 with me as the Axis.

I am willing to get smashed by you.  Can I be the Allies so I can see what humans do as both sides?

Man, just stating the obvious, but I had no idea the West Europe forces of the Allies could be so agressive.., man, he is going to wipe me out and I am the AXIS!!!!  I will email you my email address if that is okay.

Don't worry Balto, remember W Germany is a "Festung", just be careful not to take the Low Countries and split up your forces before having built up enough units. Fyi in my first pbem I got W. Germany invaded and that was the end of it, even when I retook it the next turn it was game over frustrating but it's the way to learn. And let's say you have had some bad luck with two damaged HB the first turn, so we've all been there.

Also I've always found it harder to play the Axis, if you want to achieve an AV you've got to play flawlessly and have a bit of luck, so many easy targets at the beggining that you may end up dispersing your forces. Hang on you and you'll become an expert, as someone said the game is easy to learn and play but difficult to master

I will just add that altough is sometimes frustrating to be "smashed" by experianced players. That whey you will learn the most! Just pay attention what he is doing...
