end turn, game is saved automatiacally,then just exit and you're back in main menu

I can't see the menu with the options only the subscreens options

i do that but nothing happends, i had the old game

the hot-key for returning to the main menu is 'X'. 'ESC' does not work (at least not under Win XP x64).
