Quick RHS mod question..

Ok Im following the PDF on how to install.. but on the RHS site there are like 3 versions of the RHS map (version 5, version 6 and a version 7) Along with a directory for "AW map panels"

The install instructions only say "Download RHS Digital map Pak 1 and Pak 2"
Then it says to download "ammendment panels 001, 002, 006... er something"

So which map 'pak' version should I download and install? is version 7 inclusive of all the others? or do I have to start with v5 and install all the others... and what the hell are these ammendment panels?

Oh by the way I cant find any downloadable file on the RHS site that is named " RHS Digital map pak 1 or 2" like the manual says I should download

Hummm... installing RHS mod is indeed chaotic, kafkaesque

First you need to know what map you will be using:

Level 5 => like Andrew's CHS extended map
Level 6 => like v.5 + some "channels"
Level 7 => a lot of "channels" (+ Magadascar, New Orleans and other bases)

Then you will need the art files (ships, etc.), the scenarios and don't forget the PWHEX file. In theory the art is in "AKS Dreemer" site or something like that. The scenarios and PWHEX files (along with some map panels as well) are constantly updated. Kafkaesque, as I have said

I got all the art files.. I guess it wouldnt hurt to use version 7? I mean it sounds like you're saying that they all will work, it just my chocice of what I want?

Well, Level 7 is still a beta version. In theory, v.5 and v.6 are almost finished. But the truth is they still upload scenarios, map panels, etc., so... I suspect Level 7 will be "finished" (or will be stable for that matter) pretty soon.

Anyway, RHS (and other mods) are discussed in the "Scenario Design / Game Editor" section. You will find useful information there

I got it working... and I'll check the mods section

Everything seems to be working fine... except the ship artwork is godawful hideous... hope that Im missing something
