Hi Jason,

I'd almost forgotton just how much fun all this business could be, a few games over at The Blitz and now this new release, no more disk swapping!.

Anyway long story short, cast your mind back to the Sea Lion Expansion disk, IIRC you mapped SE England - Charlie sent us all a copy, in fact I even mumped part of your map for one of my scenarios. Needless to say that was several computers ago nd all my work in progress from teh period is long since gone.

I was wondering if you still had that map and if so what's the chance of having a copy?

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris

Yes, of course. You can find it here:

Kent County Map

I have another version of this that I am working on, expanding it west as much as I can. That will take awhile to complete.

Hope you're well!

Cheers Jason, got it.

Here's the plan ...

As we both know Hitler had promised the German navy that there would be no war until 1945 and of course British Industry and the Military was being geared up for war with Germany at around the same time I thought that it may be a bit of fun to create a new Sea Lion LCG based on the above assumption

Cheers,

Chris

Ooo.. now that's really interesting indeed!

The reason I am expanding the map is for a new Operation Sealion LCG and set of scenarios that focus on the September hypothetical instead of the July option already shown.

Good times!!

Good luck!

Dave Hickman and I were asked to do that for TOAW (COW), the trouble was we couldn't get the German's accross The Channel let alone get them a significant foothold without going in to the relms of fantasy. The problem being the German's just didn't have sufficient air and sea forces to do the deed. In theory they could achieve air superiority over the landing zones but they didn't have the transports to get any airmobile/landing forces accross in any strength ... and as for the navy.

Anyway, I'm going to assume that the war goes as it did historically to mid 1940 but then change history and allow the UK to accept Hitler's truce offer. The Z Plan is then reinstated (albeit cut down) and British Industry isn't Blitzed. The German's get their navy to cross the Channel by 1944 and the British have the land forces (with British equipment) to oppose them.

Well you know where I am if I can lend a hand.

Cheers,

Chris
