Thanks and Hello Robert

Nah, I really don't like Chomsky but as they say know your enemy

All this studying has made you a little reclusive, a bit gnomish... or is that Noamish??

Nah I'm just interested more in the literaure and culture than some Universal Grammar principles or Language Acquisition Devices being part of his Nativist Theory or his Minimalist Syntax approach...

Well, some time in the middle of the night, one niece arrived for a visit (plane delayed, i think) - and most of the rest of her family arrives in another week... So, we'll have at least 4 visitors (i am not sure which of the 7 are arriving... work, etc. dictates who is coming.)

BTW:

The Vigintisexviri (sing. vigintisexvir) was a college (collegium) of minor magistrates (magistratus minores) in the Roman Republic; the name literally means "Twenty-Six Men". The college consisted of six boards.

In the Republic, the Vigintisexvirate had served as a stepping stone for the sons of senators to begin their own public careers the cursus honorum; Julius Caesar had served as curator viarum and restored parts of the Via Appia. In AD 13, however, the Senate passed a senatus consultum restricting the reduced Vigintivirate to the Equestrians.

I'm off to get ready for another day of class.  It's better than work, and I get to sleep in until 7:00 instead of 5:15, but not as many chances to Tithe in the day.

Have a great day, or afternoon, everyone!
