playing midway as USN (unusual for me). the scenario with saratoga in. assigned midway to the computer. danged if midway didn't find the IJN carriers on first strike and put soryu and akagi out of action immediately. i got in and put kaga and hiryu down and that was it.

Good job. Getting the first strike is very important in this game.

first strike IS important.  what is odd here is that i didn't to it.  the computer running midway for me did it.  i got in and mopped up after.  i would feel a lot better about it if i had been commanding the midway forces.
