I've never played any of the games within this series, though it looks intriguing. Given this title is somewhat old (I realize it's more than a re-release), I suspect the screen resolution may be 800x600, perhaps even 1024x768. No doubt the game will scale across whatever resolution you're using today, though quality wise, not an ideal solution. This brings me to my question: does Campaign Series support windowed mode?

Thanks in advance.

No, it does not.. but it does use your monitor resolution, merely showing more of the map to compensate.

The game is wonderful on my monitor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024

And for what it's worth I run CS in 1680 x 1050 on a 22" wide screen and I love the views of the map I have.

Run in any resolution and you won't be disappointed.

yeah that's one thing that really keeps the game fresh, the graphics look great, even on modern resolution monitors.

I have the same size monitor and resolution and it looks fine, although the units appear a bit small. You can run at a lower resolution and trade off the increased apparent size of the units for the slight blurriness that comes at running at the non-native resolution setting. I tried that but went back to the 1680x1050 because you can see more of the map. Another benefit is that having the unit display on the side works out just fine with a wide screen monitor.

I used to play the game at the level 2 view as my default. With the 1680 X 1050 resolution I regularly play at level 1 because I find I'm now able to see about as much of the map as I use to when playing at level 2 plus I can really enjoy the 3D units at closest view.

Has anyone ever hooked their PC up to a nice big wide screen LCD HD TV? I've got a 42" with PC inputs but I've never tried it yet.

I can just see my wife watching me do that

i used to play on 1024 x 760 resolution on my screen.
but i tried to play on my  TV plasma screen 42 "
amazing but you must remain on 3d zoom level, because it's not easy on 2D display
