Hi !

On my laptop I have installed TOAWIII and added the latest patch, I have the same versions on my desktop PC.

Now I have moved two files (one .PBL and one .SAL) to my laptop from my desktop but no one will run.

First I get a Windows Error-message saying that I cant have access to the file since it is being used by another process an then I get the TOAW-error message saying that this verison of TOAW cant load this scenario.

The scenarios are Fite (.PBL) and Overlord 44 (.SAL)

I have tried older .SAL and .PBL files saved on my laptop and they run without any problems.

Please reboot your laptop, copy the files back over, and try again.

I just got the same problem on my pc. I will reboot and see what happens. Same exact problem on FITE7 PBEM.
Did this solution work?
I weep.

Suggestions...

Verify that a help/about shows 3.2.x.x.
Reboot.
For PBLs. ask the opponent to zip the files and resend them. I've seen reports that sometimes the files will get corrupted.

If all that fails, send them to me at ralptrickey (at) hotmail (dot) com or post them here.

Thanks,
Ralph

Is 3.2.x.x. round up from 3109 or did I miss a patch?
I do have 3109.
Thanks,
Jonny

I'm Jonny's opponent and I upgraded to 3.2 without telling him - mea culpa!!

WE'll sort out whether he wants to apply hte beta patch or I can reinstall another copy to 3.1.0.9 and redo the turn.

Sorry...

It's in the Members Club. You need to click on the link at the top of the page that says "Members". If you have already created a members account, and registered TOAW III, then you will find it there. If you haven't already created a members account, then do so, register TOAW III (along with any other Matrix games that you have).
