Not as well versed on the ID's of the planes in this painting but I would suspect as much..BTW, one of the American flyers on that mission was the same (then) Lt "Buzz" Wagner who managed to get in the air at Pearl on December 7th!.

The tailcode of Yamamoto's aircraft was T1-323. The last three digits are clearly visible on that particular Betty.

Somebody already made a start screen from the Zero and Wildcat dogfight. I used it for a long while. You can find it on spookies.

Actually I think the Carrier is HMAS Sydney I'm fairly sure the Melbourne was completed with an angled flight deck. The Sydney wasn't.
