It's late May 42, Allies. I have a couple of SB2U squads left with under 10 planes so I can't upgrade cause I need 16....what should I do with these...aside from using them lol. One has 6 the other 10 I think. If they are still alive will they convert to Dauntlesses automatically?

What matters is the number of SBD's you have.

Doesn't matter if the units are understrength.

They should upgrade to Dauntlesses...its as automatic as any upgrade.

There's plenty of SBD's. The group of 10 has no option to upgrade, the 6 plane one does but it says I don't have enoguh although it's scheduled. Neither can ADD to the group either..so I'll wait!

Make sure there is enough supply at the base where the planes are located. If they are not fragments, you can upgrade them when you have 16 SBD's in the pool.....as long as there is sufficient supply present.
