Hi all,

Playing the side of Japan, I have troops @ Jehol I want to move by air transport (either L2D2 or Topsy) to Yenan that I've recently captured. Jehol base is attached to the Kwatung Area Army. The Topsy air units are attached to China Expedition Army. The L2D2 are attached to Southern Area Army.

When I click either my L2D2 or Topsy transports my only option is to run supplies - not transport troops. Is the game hard coded to prevent me from moving troops by air in China and Kwatung? Is there another way to transport troops by air in the China and Kwatung areas?

Both the transports and the LCUs must be unrestriced commands. CEF and Kwangtung are both restritced so troop transport is not an option. Change the Topseys and the LCU to SAA and everything will work fine.

As Jap you cannot transport (by air and sea) the following commands due to restrictions:

Chinese Expeditionary Army
Kwantung Area Army
Home Defense Forces

If you want to move them you have to spend some political points and switch them to one of the other commands which have no such restrictions:

Burma Area Army
Southern Area Army
Southeast Fleet
Southern Fleet
4th Fleet
aso....

The AC doing the transporting must also be from an unrestricted command.
