Question about air units' shock phase

Status: offline 		Geez... I ask a lot...

According to the manual all attacks except strategic and air, have shock phase. Air units though have shock modifiers, does this mean they will use their modifiers only when engaged in ground attack?

Status: offline 		I am pretty sure that Shock only applies against ground targets.  So the air would hit the ground unit with shock, the ground unit fires AA, then the ground attack is applied.

Status: offline 		Correct, shock is done when attacking ground units.
