I am still having a bit of difficulty with the naval strategy. for Germany to get sea supply, all they have to do is click sea supply then send their trannys out. As long as the UK does not hit the transports then you will get supply, correct?

Do you need to send some type of escort for the transports?

You'll get supply to the friendly port adjacent the sea zone.

If your transports are intercepted by an opposing force, having some protection may be helpful. It depends on the size of the enemy force, having 4 DDs with 3 transports isn't going to help your plight if you run into the British Grand Fleet.

I am trying to read the national screen, where exactly does it show that I am getting extra supplies, I don't see a + by my food or industry for Germany.

With respect to food, the number under Trade represents your food gathered from shipping.

Just to clarify, "sea supply" isn't trade.  "Shipping" is.  Sea supply is used for increasing the supply level of ports in the sea zone you have transports on a "sea supply" mission in.

For example, you will need sea supply if you want to land a large force at Salonika AND have them move inland.  So you will need a transport or two assigned to the Eastern Med on "Sea Supply" for that to happen otherwise your force at Salonika would run out of supply very quickly once it moves out of the port.

omg, I can't believe this whole time I have been using sea supply and wondering where my extra food resources is.  Thank you for the help though.  This should be in a faqs.  If you think about it, I thought sea supply meant supply, it's even got the same word in it and shipping was to ship troops.

And just to clarify, "shipping" is trade, "amphibious" is for transporting troops.
