Being one of those purist looking for a computerized version of EiA and realizing that this is not going to be it, the game does appear to be very similar, especially considering that many of the EiH rules are being incorporated. And, I realize that this game is being produced with the blessing of the original manufacturers of EiA (Australian Design Group), is there any danger that once it comes out that Hasbro (owners of The Avalon Hill Game Company) will sue and cause the game to die before it takes off due to the similarities of it and the EiA boardgame?

I ask this because I am one that definitely will buy it, but will be very depressed if it dies and no further support can be given to it (patches, updates, etc.)

Regards,
Mark

Good question. Personally I'd rather see Hasbro go the way of the Dinosaur. They fouled AVH up so bad it's not funny. Jerks

From what I recall ADG only gave AH publishing rights for the board game, not ownership rights so Hasbro would have nothing to go on.
