On your desktop you will have an icon for the Harpoon Launcher. Double clicking on it produces a screen with a big "Harpoon" running across the top part. Bottom right is a small option labelled "H3 Config". Click the "H3 Config". That loads up a little program (The Config untililty) to set the resolution, rules, database, sounds on/off, videos etc etc etc. You can't select a different database while Harpoon is actually running. You select (or stick with the set one). Now, to ADD a new database to the one you have;- 1) Make a new folder in the DATABASE folder of Harpoon. Rename it to something relevant. 2) Copy the new database files into that folder. If the database is set up for ANW, it should be selectable from the Config Utility straight away. 3) DB2K - you need to do more work. For a start, it will need a signature generated by the Database Editor. For another, it will need an database.xml file edited to let it be selected by the H3 Config Utility. If you study the database.xml file, you will see it's pretty easy to just save a copy of one and edit it to taste. You can use Notepad. The reason why DB2K is such a hassle is that there still isn't a MODERN DB2K version that's been tested and found compatible with the ANW version of Harpoon. That decision belongs with Ragnar Gathan, the database's author, and the reasons are complex but can best be summed up "Ragnar has issues with ANW." As I understand things, it's still the way he want DB2K to be distributed. I honestly haven't heard from him for a while so maybe he's changed his mind. The .xml file and the signature are features of ANW, and were not necessary in earlier version (instead you had to edit .ini files in a similar fashion to editing the .xml file.
