Suddenly the game does not work with this error message

I get a windows box with this text which is the same as the error log file

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: game/Global
at CEAW.main(CEAW.java:123)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source)
at com.exe4j.runtime.LauncherEngine.launch(Unknown Source)
at com.exe4j.runtime.WinLauncher.main(Unknown Source)

No response so far from the Slitherine site.

What do you mean by suddenly? Have you modded the game or changd anything? According to the message, your Global.class files is missing in the game/ folder

No changes that I am aware of, I did have a problem with my bios and had to reset date and time but that should make no difference?

Should I just re-install the game?

There is a global class file of 19k in the data/game folder
