I just finished this past season (losing 4-1 in the WS) and did the offseason. Then I went and checked the "Starters by year". I am listed as having no catcher. I went into the almanac, and there, under that year's fielding stats, neither of my catchers were listed. Both became free agents at the end of the year, so I'm assuming that since they left before those stats were done they were not listed. The same thing happened with a LF/3B, who I believe would have been named a starter at one of those positions. On a similar topic, the year before, a player was listed as a starter for right field even though he had only played 14 games there. The actual starter, who played 93 games at RF, also had the most centerfield games at 60, but was listed as the centerfield starter. The backup RF, who played 45 games, was not listed as RF because he had 72 games at first. Obviously, "Starters by Year" starts at catcher and goes down the line, crossing off players as they are used, when instead those players should be listed at the position they played most (given that they played more there than anyone else.)
