Hi,

I am having very frustrating problems.

For some reason the game is freezing constantly. My mouse stops moving, keyboard will not work and the only way to get out of the game is to reboot my computer. It won't even let me access windows task manager.

Is there anyway to set this game up so I can be in a window. At least then I could still access my computer and kill the app.

At least until I figure out what the problem is.

thks

P.S. it's some sort of resolution problem. The game works great at 800 x 600. anything higher and it goes nuts.

place a blank text file in the Maximum Football directory called windowmode.txt

that should do it

it only works at 800x600 in window mode

Well playing at 800 x 600 is not an option. Heck, it should not even be available in this day and age.

Thks for the info though.

Now I just have to hope someone knows why the game is reaction so weird.

Well, if the game was on a laptop with crappy integrated graphics, the game could stil be played in low rez.

Heh, I remeber when 800x600 was high rez in the computer world.  I'm gettin' old.

The 800* 600 window mode was put in place because a very large number of customers like to play this game on laptops or desktop computers with less than stellar graphics cards. The game performs better in a lower resolution on those systems. The Window mode allows for doing other things at the same time (such as checking email), I don't recommend doing that, but it can be done none-the-less.

for the coin toss problem, please see my response in the thread specific to that topic.

thanks
David
