Does anyone know of any software, where I can design my own game hex maps. Right now I'm using an MSEXCEL sheet, and as you can see that is not going work very well. I need something that I can edit fairly easy and most importantly something that I can print. Thanks

Have you tried Campaign Cartographer? If you want strictly wargame-style maps, then you might just try the TOAW III map editor which I believe allows you to export the map as an image (which could then be printed).

This:

may help.

The downloadable zip file does not work, but alternatives are available.

My free utility called DrawHexGrid is available at: http://cryhavocgames.net/other_stuff.htm

It will do hex numbering, center dots, etc. and is very easy to use.

HeavyMetal Map. It's for Classic BattleTech though, but I guess those maps could be compatible with some other games too.

I was checking to see if Shrapnel Games still sold their wargaming program THE WAR ENGINE but it looks as if they discontinued it......You also might want to check out this forum:
