Will the DB Editor run under Open Office?
What is the scale of the map at 1x in the Atlantic Battle sets?

Thanks,
Mike

Won´t run under OO, but you can use the acces runtime.

At 1x you have the whole north Atlantic

I don't think that is an answerable question. Most map projections don't have a constant scale across the map, particularly when you get an area as large as the North Atlantic. If I remember correctly, the projection used in HC tends to magnify distances in the North-South direction. In other words circles aren't circles. They are ovals with the long axis in the N-S direction.

Forgetting about all that cartographical mumbo jumbo; the scale will also depend on the size of your monitor and what resolution you are using on it.

Go Smitty

Once you have the game you can see how much distance each map covers at different places by clicking one spot, then the next and you will be shown the distance in nautical miles between those two points.
