I'm pretty bored here this afternoon. I started downloading v4.0 this morning at around 7:15 a.m. Pacific time. I took the kids in the back yard, filled up the pool and played water fight for about an hour. I've had breakfast and lunch. Chips, these Roasted Red Pepper Tostitos (not bad). I've visted every message board I could think of. Earlier, at 103mb I decided I wanted to play "The Sims" for awhile to pass the time and crashed the computer. I was at 70% completed at that point. Here's a story for you to help pass the time and kinda get an idea of how I am feeling RIGHT NOW. About six months ago, I took a trip with the family out to Tucson, Arizona to visit my sister and play some golf with my brother in law. A week later, we left and went driving down the I-10 back to Los Angeles through the hot desert. Only, we left at 5 in the morning to avoid some of that heat. About 7 am we are near Pheonix Arizona. My oldest son (5 yrs old at the time) asks me if we had our luggage? "Yes" I say, kinda bored, but being attentive to the road ahead. He decides to get a little repetative as starts to ask if we remember to bring the drink. "Yes" I said, "...at your feet". And he continues....and asks if I remember to bring his little brothers stuffed animals...."Yes" I reply. He gets on these kicks where he will ask a million questions in a row and sometimes it will drive you crazy, but on that day, he asked the killer question. He then asked, "Daddy? Did you remember to bring your golf clubs?" .... "DAMN!!!!!" - My sister, God bless her, moved my golf clubs into the hall closet to get them out of the way and when we left at 5 in the morning, I didn't account for them and left them in Tucson. We turned around, drove back to Tucson and got the golf clubs at around 10:30 or so. Said our goodbyes again and jumped back onto the I-10 freeway. Around noon we passed the overpass that we had turned around on when I realized I had forgotten my golf clubs! Well....about 3 minutes ago I just passed 70% on my download. I'm at 74% and it's a hell of a feeling to not be re-tracing covered territory! Oh well, I'm going to remain bored for a little while longer, hoped this helped pass the time a little. ....hey look, 75%....
