OK, here is the deal - at my puny 56k modem, from Poland, i'm up for a 20hrs of fun. We p pay per minute, so it's gonna cost me around 35 bucks. If any good soul with CD-burner hangs in around here, and is willing to help - i would be veery thankful.

I guess I should have started a new topic, but I have offered to send a copy of the complete game on CD-R for $0.00 to about 20 people. Preferably ones who will share it in a similar manner, but primarily for people in your situation, very expensive or no download capability & no access to the CD being distributed in the games magazines in Canada/USA. Drop me a note at: nwbattalion@icqmail.com or use the mail link at my homepage at: http://dreadnaught.home.icq.com/ This isn't a win/lose contest, just trying to share the game as widely as possible. By the way Guderian, Tankhead is and old friend if mine & had mentioned that you two were playing a PBEM game. Did you manage to finish it & how did you do? I haven't beat him yet at SPWaW. He just seems to be able to be everywhere Bonzo ------------------ Robert (Bonzo) Lindsay, Coordinator 28th (North-west) Battalion Headquarters http://dreadnaught.home.icq.com nwbattalion@icqmail.com

Just a note to say that I still have a number of CD-R's of the complete game unspoken for. I'll start a new thread for people offering to burn the game for people to post an offer. It was neat, however my long reply times made it go halfway when v3 appeared on horizon, so we decided to hang up and wait for new game. I was playing Hungary - it made me discover just how poor is default morale for minors - i heard it got fixed in v4, hopefully my poor Honved won't rout as easy now...

I think that you might have to turn off the "National Characteristics" to bring the Hungarians up. I think that then your morale, experience, toughness, etc settings won't be modified by this country rating, letting you set the balance how you want between forces. No crap. Minors are reamed by the default country settings. I've seen entire regiments of italian infantry stand still or run from a single battery of hard working 75mm artillery... Bonzo, I'm interested in a CD. And I'll help distribute too. Tomo
