I was not around a lot this summer for Baseball but Football is another story Three leagues again this year:

http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/register/joinprivateleague_league_select?.scrumb=

just join custom and enter the league number and password (they are all 'Matrix')

Matrix Classic - standard Yahoo with auto pick draft for those that want a quick, simple and easy game. Matrix Classic (ID# 545645) password Matrix

Matrix Hall of Fame - Points weigh more than stats, but I have added more yardage bonuses, also toned down defense and kickers a fair bit from last year. Live Draft starts Sat 1 Sep at 3:30pm EDT. Matrix Hall of Fame (ID# 546440) Password Matrix.

Matrx Pro - Stats weighted more than points (but closer to equal with the new bonuses), Individual defensive players (toned down this year), and online draft Mon 3 Sep at 4:30pm Eastern Sports Home Fantasy Home Help Viewing Info for League: Matrix Pro Football (ID# 547227) password Matrix

Winner in each league gets a Matrix game download (unless I win )

FYI, this is the actual join page you want (Fantasy Football basic rather than Plus)

We need 6 more teams for the training wheel league. Be sure to capitalize the "M" in Matrix for the password.

PS..no whining when you get owned.

Live draft sounds fun, but I am afraid everyone would laugh at me if I tried to draft Bo Jackson or Walter Payton

Crap!  The Classic league is full.    That's what I get for being busy at work.

I'd gladly play in one of the other leagues, but I won't be able to make any live draft.  Paul, please let me know if you expand the max teams in the Classic league.  I wouldn't want to deny you the chance to get back at me.

By popular demand I've added two more spots to the Matrix Classic league, to 12 and made it a six team playoff.

Great to see all this interest!

By the way, guys...even if you enter a Yahoo league that is Live Draft, you can set your own player rankings prior to the draft, and Yahoo will run your team's draft like an Autodraft league.

Not at all! In fact, I'd encourage you to use more picks on retired players, while I stocked up on guys still contributing.

I havfe two more supposedly going to join, but if the slots gets filled before they do, they are SOL - I'm keeping the HoF and Pro leagues at 10 teams, as they have large player pools.

Great. My starting QB (Eli Manning) gets injured the first week.
Injuries can kill you in this game.

Also this observation, Vebber just happens to get Peyton Manning in the training wheel league.

Injuries STINK. Especially when coaches are trying to be vague. I'm waiting and hoping the freakin' Jets decide to let a few FACTS emerge about Pennington...I'd like to know the status of my backup QB!

Looks like I will be moving to 2-0 in the HoF league, kicked Vebs butt week one, and the Bay Area Knightmares this week.

Looks like I'll be 0-2...despite having Carson Palmer this week. AAAGH! Tonight's Monday nighter features 3 starters from my opponent...it shall be a slow, painful death.

Yet, sickly...I love it.

I got to play against Carson Palmer and Steve Smith on the same team this week. Ow. ow. Looks like I might end up scoring high enough to beat every team except the one I actually was playing this week, after losing week 1 542 points to 545! Ah well, there's always next week...

Yeah, that is what us Dolphin fans say too, except it still hurts each week. And my fantasy team looked good on paper (I'm in another league), but it has been declared by me a dog.

I want to redraft and start over...
